Hi all,
Currently I'm using Nikon D40x. I wish to use this camera for photographing fireflies. Any tips to share?

Do you intend to use a macro lens? If so, which one do you intend to use? I do not have any specific "tips" to offer, but I certainly encourage you to share your photographs here when you create them!
I use a 60mm Micro Nikkor for photographing creatures. I have never photographed fireflies, however.

Unfortunately I have not tried photographing fireflies either. Now that I'm interested in the possibility of trying to photograph them I do not believe they exist here as I do not remember ever seeing one in the last 8 years that I have lived here. That's just my luck, lol.
